Safety & Regulations
1. Mandatory Equipment for All Participants
- Life jacket (provided by the company).
- Dry suit (provided by the company).
- Protective helmet (provided by the company).
- Rubber or water shoes to avoid damaging the dry suit.
- Kayak paddle.
2. General Rules
– It is mandatory to follow the guide's instructions at all times.
– The consumption of alcohol or drugs before and during the activity is prohibited.
– Nature must be respected, and no garbage may be left on the islands or in the water.
– Participants are not allowed to leave the group without authorization.
– Any relevant medical condition must be disclosed in advance.
3. Water Safety
– Always wear the life jacket and helmet properly.
– Avoid sudden movements that may destabilize the kayak.
– In the event of a capsize, remain with the kayak and follow the guide's instructions.
– Do not attempt to rescue other participants unless instructed by the guide.
4. Weather Conditions
– LATITUD EXPEDITION may cancel or modify the activity in the event of strong winds or adverse weather conditions.
– The final decision rests with the lead guide.
5. Conduct on Land
– During visits to the islands, participants must remain on established trails.
– Damaging flora, fauna, or historical remains is prohibited.
– The allotted exploration time must be respected.
6. Responsibility
– The activity involves inherent risks associated with outdoor sports.
– Each participant takes part at their own responsibility, having previously signed the informed consent form.
